LBDA By the time it became clear that we needed to consider placement in a care facility for the well being of my husband and myself, his needs were greater than what assisted living centers would meet. So, he went into a care facility that offers more care than assisted living, but less than nursing homes. I urge you readers to not wait before you check into what assistance you may need or want -- for yourself and for your loved one. There are long waiting lists at many care facilities. Please do not wait until your health is on the line from your caregiving.
