"World peace must develop from inner peace." Dalai Lama
I think it is hard to maintain inner peace in our times. Russia just announced it had a new weapon that could reach anywhere and not be intercepted. The U.S. has inner strife and discontent among its citizens. Violence is in the news daily. Despite that, it is critical that we develop and maintain inner peace. One way I do that is by managing my inner and outer conversations -- to avoid negativity.

This blog is written to provide information and support to persons who are providing care for someone with dementia. A first indicator of dementia is when someone has trouble doing a task once familiar and easy for them. If you have begun to be concerned about someone's memory or cognitive processing, help the person receive a physical exam, to include lab work, and an appointment with a neuropsychologist for an evaluation of memory and cognitive processing.
