It seems as if it is more difficult than usual to remain at peace in our hearts, minds and souls. The political turmoil in the world today keeps our attention with its abrasiveness and unpredictability. How can we remain at peace? For me it means catching enough news to be informed, but not obsessed; meditating daily, spending time in nature daily, being around people who are at peace themselves. How do you remain at peace? |
This blog is written to provide information and support to persons who are providing care for someone with dementia. A first indicator of dementia is when someone has trouble doing a task once familiar and easy for them. If you have begun to be concerned about someone's memory or cognitive processing, help the person receive a physical exam, to include lab work, and an appointment with a neuropsychologist for an evaluation of memory and cognitive processing.
