With the events ongoing in northern Africa, we are reminded of the historical evidence of humans striving for individual freedom. Perhaps nothing is sought more than personal freedom. Sometimes the role of dementia caregiver can seem imprisoning. It is a good discipline for me to look for and claim the ways in which I still have freedom.
