It will probably not be a surprise for people reading this blog, but I did not vote for the misogynist who was just elected president of America. I am deeply saddened that hate and fear won out, and violence against women, people with disabilities, immigrants, etc., etc. carried the vote for the win of the electoral college. But, I have hope in that the popular vote went to a woman who has devoted her life to human rights. Let's carry our values forward and hope this presidency plays out without violation of dignity and freedom, and without us being blown up |
This blog is written to provide information and support to persons who are providing care for someone with dementia. A first indicator of dementia is when someone has trouble doing a task once familiar and easy for them. If you have begun to be concerned about someone's memory or cognitive processing, help the person receive a physical exam, to include lab work, and an appointment with a neuropsychologist for an evaluation of memory and cognitive processing.
