"Fear wants us to act too soon." Mark Nepo
I just hosted a family reunion combined with house guests, so for the first time in many years have not written a daily blog.
Today Nepo suggests that fear can have us act too soon. I think that is so right, and it is the basis of some of the difficulties in relationships. That does not mean avoiding an issue, but to act too hastily can add to the miss-communication.

This blog is written to provide information and support to persons who are providing care for someone with dementia. A first indicator of dementia is when someone has trouble doing a task once familiar and easy for them. If you have begun to be concerned about someone's memory or cognitive processing, help the person receive a physical exam, to include lab work, and an appointment with a neuropsychologist for an evaluation of memory and cognitive processing.
