"Meditation is a microcosm, a model, a mirror. The skills we practice when we sit are transferable to the rest of our lives." Sharon Salzberg
Meditation is a good way to see the content of our minds. Another technique is to notice, at any given time, what your thought content is. I have heard it said that what one thinks about most is their God. If that is true, it behooves us to think thoughts that are supportive of ourselves and others.

This blog is written to provide information and support to persons who are providing care for someone with dementia. A first indicator of dementia is when someone has trouble doing a task once familiar and easy for them. If you have begun to be concerned about someone's memory or cognitive processing, help the person receive a physical exam, to include lab work, and an appointment with a neuropsychologist for an evaluation of memory and cognitive processing.
