"Life is movement. The more life there is, the more flexibility there is. The more fluid you are, the more you are alive." Arnaud Desjardins
What if that is true? What if, rather than aging, difficulty with moving joints is about flexibility in attitude? Some have thought this to be true, and it might be worth considering. Are you flexible in your approach to life or do you rigidly hold on to your point of view and try to control things? We may think we are flexible, but perhaps we should check in with our bodies. Am I being flexible, noncontrolling, fluid?

This blog is written to provide information and support to persons who are providing care for someone with dementia. A first indicator of dementia is when someone has trouble doing a task once familiar and easy for them. If you have begun to be concerned about someone's memory or cognitive processing, help the person receive a physical exam, to include lab work, and an appointment with a neuropsychologist for an evaluation of memory and cognitive processing.
