"Walker, there is no path, you make the path as you walk." Antonio Macado
Yes, there are books one can consult, people who are also doing or have done what we are trying to do; but, essentially, we must walk our own path. As caregivers, as parents, as humans. I tend to read a lot of books on a topic that is new which I am trying to navigate, but there aren't always good resources and - ultimately - we must find our own way, with integrity.

This blog is written to provide information and support to persons who are providing care for someone with dementia. A first indicator of dementia is when someone has trouble doing a task once familiar and easy for them. If you have begun to be concerned about someone's memory or cognitive processing, help the person receive a physical exam, to include lab work, and an appointment with a neuropsychologist for an evaluation of memory and cognitive processing.
