How can a person not be mesmerized by the visual display of fall?

I have been busy getting our home ready for winter.  Who knows what this winter will bring?  Last year was mild here, but that does not mean this year will be.  I am paying someone to stain the house and another person to do repairs.  Dwane was so good at all of that, but with his illness he was not able to, nor was I with caregiving him.  Feels good to have things looking so good.
