Happy New Year, 2016
What will 2016 bring for you? Of course, we cannot say for sure. There will be twists and surprises and some tedium, but what we can say is what attitude we will have for 2016. Do you look forward to it? Are there some goals you want to accomplish? Even if you are caregiving someone, it is still important to think what we want for our own life. Enthusiasm for our own life is important. For what can you be enthusiastic? I am enthused about taking more Bodytalk classes this year, working less, creating more, having more fun, exercising regularly, enjoying time with those I love.

This blog is written to provide information and support to persons who are providing care for someone with dementia. A first indicator of dementia is when someone has trouble doing a task once familiar and easy for them. If you have begun to be concerned about someone's memory or cognitive processing, help the person receive a physical exam, to include lab work, and an appointment with a neuropsychologist for an evaluation of memory and cognitive processing.
