"How we pay our bills tells us if we are optimists or pessimists."
Do you pay your bills grudgingly, looking for the mistake that proves someone is trying to take advantage of you? Or, do you pay your bills grateful for the service? Some say that is a good way to tell if you are really an optimist or a pessimist. I confess that I vacillate between being grateful for the service and sometimes feeling I have been overcharged. And that is probably just being human.

This blog is written to provide information and support to persons who are providing care for someone with dementia. A first indicator of dementia is when someone has trouble doing a task once familiar and easy for them. If you have begun to be concerned about someone's memory or cognitive processing, help the person receive a physical exam, to include lab work, and an appointment with a neuropsychologist for an evaluation of memory and cognitive processing.
