"Happiness isn't a destination; it's a realization that things couldn't possibly get any better than having the freedom to perceive as you please." Mike Tully
Are you susceptible to the human tendency to think you will be happy when? When you have more money, when someone in your life isn't aggravating you, when you are feeling better? While that is a normal human tendency, it is not optimal. It is far better for look for reasons to be happy now and to choose to be happy now. Just as things are. Right now. Let's choose to be happy.

This blog is written to provide information and support to persons who are providing care for someone with dementia. A first indicator of dementia is when someone has trouble doing a task once familiar and easy for them. If you have begun to be concerned about someone's memory or cognitive processing, help the person receive a physical exam, to include lab work, and an appointment with a neuropsychologist for an evaluation of memory and cognitive processing.
