"Why am I holding on to this? Sometimes it is old bitterness or misunderstanding. Sometimes it is a sense of entitlement." Gregory Malovetz
Much of the damage done to our physical cells is caused by our holding on to anger, bitterness, loss, grief. Sometimes when I have had a massage, tears will run down my face when an area is massaged. I think that is because memory is stored in our physical cells, and it needs to be released. Now, let us consider letting go of grudges, hurts, slights, resentments. It is good for our body to let them go.

This blog is written to provide information and support to persons who are providing care for someone with dementia. A first indicator of dementia is when someone has trouble doing a task once familiar and easy for them. If you have begun to be concerned about someone's memory or cognitive processing, help the person receive a physical exam, to include lab work, and an appointment with a neuropsychologist for an evaluation of memory and cognitive processing.
