"Make every day count." common saying
How do we make every day count? Perhaps it is by living from our heart, rather than from our heads so much. As humans, we can be proud of our well-developed brains. I saw a documentary of our ancestors about 2 million years ago, whose brains were about 1/3 the size of ours. But, that might cause us to over rely on our brains. We have largely lost touch with our intuition, and that is perhaps where true living arises.

This blog is written to provide information and support to persons who are providing care for someone with dementia. A first indicator of dementia is when someone has trouble doing a task once familiar and easy for them. If you have begun to be concerned about someone's memory or cognitive processing, help the person receive a physical exam, to include lab work, and an appointment with a neuropsychologist for an evaluation of memory and cognitive processing.
