"Gratitude is the sign of noble souls." Aesop Do you live with an attitude of gratitude? Many mental health and spiritual paths recommend we do so. A fun exercise I read about is to practice every day to notice and be grateful for 5 things you would not usually be grateful for. I think that is a practice worth trying. Today I am grateful for the lack of wind, the presence in my life of those who love me, meaningful work, a healthy body, good air quality. For what are you grateful today? |
This blog is written to provide information and support to persons who are providing care for someone with dementia. A first indicator of dementia is when someone has trouble doing a task once familiar and easy for them. If you have begun to be concerned about someone's memory or cognitive processing, help the person receive a physical exam, to include lab work, and an appointment with a neuropsychologist for an evaluation of memory and cognitive processing.
