"To sing a wrong note is insignificant, but to sing without passion is unforgivable." Beethoven To live out our passions could be misunderstood, and some people do live it this way, to mean our carnal passions, but I think to live our passions is much deeper and more spiritual than that. It is more than what we eat or how many times we have sex, it is living with enthusiasm. My daughter has signed my granddaughter up for dance lessons. When they drove up to the building for the lessons last week, my granddaughter said, "I just LOVE this place!" That is living from one's passions, and something most of us can do better. |
This blog is written to provide information and support to persons who are providing care for someone with dementia. A first indicator of dementia is when someone has trouble doing a task once familiar and easy for them. If you have begun to be concerned about someone's memory or cognitive processing, help the person receive a physical exam, to include lab work, and an appointment with a neuropsychologist for an evaluation of memory and cognitive processing.
