"Fear is the belief in limitation." Ernest Holmes
We can have many fears as caregivers. How to provide comfort and care adequately to our loved one? Will the money last to pay for the care? Will our own health be compromised by the stress of caregiving? Fear is lethal and pointless. Far better to plan well and trust. Have you planned for the care and financial well-being of your and your love one? That is all we can do. To fear is to waste our energy.

This blog is written to provide information and support to persons who are providing care for someone with dementia. A first indicator of dementia is when someone has trouble doing a task once familiar and easy for them. If you have begun to be concerned about someone's memory or cognitive processing, help the person receive a physical exam, to include lab work, and an appointment with a neuropsychologist for an evaluation of memory and cognitive processing.
