"Every human interaction offers you the chance to make things better or to make things worse." Barbara Brown Taylor
I have always believed this. My presence, or the presence of anyone, can make any situation better or it can make it worse. You probably know what people you would want around you if there were a crisis, and those you would not want around you. We know which people make things better and which people make things worse. Have you thought about yourself? What is your intention? Do you make situations better or do you make them worse? It is a choice.

This blog is written to provide information and support to persons who are providing care for someone with dementia. A first indicator of dementia is when someone has trouble doing a task once familiar and easy for them. If you have begun to be concerned about someone's memory or cognitive processing, help the person receive a physical exam, to include lab work, and an appointment with a neuropsychologist for an evaluation of memory and cognitive processing.
